This is us

The King's Church is primarily a family where caring, belonging, sharing and growing together are important practices. We are people of different ages and from different backgrounds who have encountered a new life through Jesus Christ and are learning to live out his timeless teachings in our modern world.

Someone once described us as 'orthodox in teaching but contemporary in style' and I guess that just about sums us up! We have a strong belief that the Bible is God's Word and that it is true and authoritative - but we try to live it out in a way that is relevant for 21st century people. Consequently, our style is relaxed and informal, as well as being vibrant and alive.

We cater for all the family including special attention to toddlers, children and teenagers, who have their own age-related groups. Adults meet weekly for friendship, prayer and spiritual growth in our mid-week home groups.

Most of all we love people - people like you! And we would love you to visit and share in what God has given to us. His free grace and wonderful promises are too good to keep to ourselves. Many have come over the years and found answers to their questions and fulfilment for their deepest needs. Come whenever you are able - you will always find a welcome here! Our Vision

The King’s Church (Ringwood) seeks to be a church that:

  • 1. Is fully involved in the mission that Jesus started and then handed on to His church; to demonstrate and proclaim that the Kingdom of God is amongst us, through making disciples, baptising in water and in the Holy Spirit and the regular preaching of the gospel.
  • 2. Recognises the authority of the Bible and places a high value on scriptural teaching and preaching.
  • 3. Eagerly desires the presence of God whenever we gather together, with freedom for men and women to worship corporately in the Holy Spirit, encouraged to use spiritual gifts as the Holy Spirit distributes them.
  • 4.Is committed to loving one another, a family that shares and cares for each other’s needs.
  • 5. Recognises the various ministries provided by God (Eph 4) to ensure that individual members are equipped for service within the church and the community.
  • 6. Impacts the culture of its community, serving those in need and enjoying good relationships with other Christians and churches.
  • 7. Serves the wider church by being actively involved in world mission.
